London keep pressure on Leigh with big win over Oldham
London Broncos made it five Kingstone Press Championship wins in a row to stay in touch with leaders Leigh Centurions, beating Oldham 56-16 in Ealing.
Wales international winger Rhys Williams scored a first-half hat-trick to take his try total for the season to 20, while Iliess Macani and Ben Hellewell both touched down twice and other tries came from Daniel Harrison, Elliot Kear and Mark Offerdahl, with Api Pewhairangi kicking eight goals.
Oldham, who have now lost their last seven matches, trailed 34-0 at the break before restoring some pride with second-half tries from Jamal Chisholm, Jack Holmes and Michael Ward, while skipper Lewis Palfrey kicked two goals.
