Hull derby kicks off 10-match NCL bonanza on Our League

Hull derby kicks off 10-match NCL bonanza on Our League

The Impact Performance National Conference League returns to the Our League App this month – kicking off on Saturday June 10 with a classic local derby from the Premier Division between West Hull and Hull Dockers at Johnny Whiteley Park.

That’s the first of 10 fixtures which will be live streamed this summer – all completely free, for anyone who has signed up to Our League – again, at no charge.

The NCL invested in regular Our League streaming for the first time in 2022, culminating in an excellent Premier Division Grand Final that saw Hunslet Club Parkside lift the trophy after beating West Hull.

Since then, Parkside have merged with Hunslet Warriors to create Hunslet ARLC, who currently top the Premier Division table ahead of a chasing pack that includes West Hull.

Trevor Hunt, the Chair of the NCL, said: “The broadcasting of NCL games proved immensely popular last season, and the viewing figures encouraged us to partner with Our League App broadcasts to stage ten more games this year as well as the Grand Final.

“Obviously we want to broadcast the best Premier Division games, but there’s also great rugby being played in the other divisions – as we’ll show with our future selections.

“Our League shows a great range of Rugby League, and it’s important for us that the Impact Performance NCL takes its rightful place – allowing the players and clubs a showcase which is getting bigger every year with the Our League membership now over 230,000.”
