Our League Active winners announced

A set of six special Rugby League prizes have already been handed out to mark the start of the second season of Our League Active.

With membership for 2023 approaching 30,000, the monthly draws for January and February have already taken place.

Illingworth are heading for Wembley in August, after they won February’s club prize of tickets for Betfred Challenge Cup Finals Day – which this year includes four matches, as the Women’s Final will be played for the first time alongside the Men’s, in addition to the inspiresport RFL Champion Schools Final for Year 7 Boys (which returns as the Wembley curtain-raiser), and the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Final for non-Super League clubs.

Charlie Green of Siddal has also won a pair of tickets for Wembley on August 12 as February’s Youth Player Prize winner, while Mark Surtees of Seaton Rangers won the Adult Player Prize of a pair of season tickets for a club of his choice.

Stanningley won the Club Prize for January, meaning £300 of merchandise from the RFL’s technical kit suppliers Oxen is heading for the Arthur Miller Stadium.

Henry Millican of Shaw Cross Sharks won the Youth Player Prize for January – again, a pair of season tickets for the club of his choice – while Kieron Eldon of Wath Brow Rangers won an X Box as the Adult Player Prize.

Kelly Barrett, the RFL’s Head of Delivery, Community Game Competitions, said: “We’re really pleased with the numbers of players of all ages who have registered or become new members for 2023. Congratulations to the prize winners for January and February, and we look forward to lots more prizes being handed out now that the 2023 season is really getting going.”
