England Head Coach Craig Richards has named the 19-woman squad for Saturday’s RLWC2021 fixture against Canada at Wigan’s DW Stadium (Midday kick-off).
All seven squad members who did not play in Tuesday’s opening victory against Brazil are included – with Zoe Hornby, the 23-year-old Leeds Rhinos forward from Newcastle, in line to make her England debut.
The other players called into the squad are Wigan’s Georgia Wilson; Hornby’s Leeds team-mates Dannielle Anderson and Keara Bennett; and the St Helens trio Beth Stott, Paige Travis and Carrie Roberts.
The match is the first part of a double header at the DW Stadium, followed by the Men’s Quarter Final between England and Papua New Guinea, which kicks off at 230pm. England’s 19-man squad for that match will be named at midday.
