‘After receiving the news earlier today that Ellenborough Rangers had been accepted into the NCL , we were over the moon. As a club we had strived to get into this prestigious competition for a number of years. This couldn’t of been achieved without the hard work & dedication of our committee, coaches, back room staff & players & also to our supporters who follow the team week in week out. Some special people within our club history also need a mention as without them we wouldn’t be in the position we are today: Kevan Gorge, John Batty, Alan Perry, Wilson Steele, Billy Bryce As a club we are now looking forward to the 2023 season and will commence Pre Season Training at the end of November 2022. We are extremely looking forward to testing ourselves in a National Competition and against new opponents each week. We would also like to thank CARLA for giving us a platform to showcase the strength of the game in West Cumbria and will still have a strong presence within the CARLA league in which our A Team will compete during 2023.
