Masters Rugby League: Weekly Wrap-up

Masters Rugby League: Weekly Wrap-up

Last Saturday (October 1 & 2) saw more Masters Rugby League action across the country as the end of the season edged closer.

Guiseley hosted Bradford’s West Bowling in an excellent game. Elsewhere in Yorkshire, Huddersfield Masters had a visit from local neighbours Underbank in an entertaining match with plenty of skill on show, whilst Queensbury Masters, playing their third ever game, welcomed Boothtown and their five golden shorts players who proved their worth in frustrating several promising Queensbury attacking plays.

Across the Pennines, Ince Rose Bridge hosted Rochdale Masters whilst Leigh East, Cadishead and Springview took part in a three-way Masters day.

Over in Hull, Hull Masters welcomed Castleford Masters who had the help of a number of willing players from Hull Warriors Masters.

There’s more action to come this weekend on Humberside, as the derby between Hull Masters and Hull Warriors Masters is set for action.

Elsewhere, Dewsbury Celtic Masters are penned in for their second ever game as they welcome Thornhill.
