Peter Mata’utia has been suspended for two matches after an unsuccessful appeal at tribunal.
Mata’utia was charged with a late hit in the 56th minute of Castleford’s fixture against Toronto.
The player was charged with a Grade B offence and handed a two-game suspension. Mata’utia pleaded Guilty but challenged the grading. His challenge to the penalty notice was unsuccessful.
The player will serve a two-game suspension and has been handed a fine of £500.
