Origin Academy sides all set for decider

Origin Academy sides all set for decider

The teams have been announced for this Saturday’s (15 June) Rugby League Academy Origin decider between Yorkshire and Lancashire.

Lancashire levelled the three-match series with a 36-30 triumph at Blackpool’s Bloomfield Road stadium following Yorkshire’s 24-14 home win in game one. Now the sides are set to go head-to-head at Wakefield’s Mobile Rocket Stadium (kick off 2pm) in a match that will be broadcast live on the RFL’s Our League app.

Both teams make enforced changes from the sides that met at the Betfred Championship Summer Bash, though first team call-ups and unfortunate injuries inevitably mean opportunities for other talented under 18 Rugby League players ahead of an England Academy tour Down Under scheduled for 2020.
