Rochdale Hornets bolster their squad

Rochdale Hornets have bolstered their squad with the signing of Daley Williams until the end of the season and Adam Lawton on a one-month loan deal.

Williams recently left Swinton but has now joined Rochdale as they look to save their Betfred Championship status. Lawton is now in his second loan spell with the Hornets – from Salford – this season.

Rochdale Hornets Head Coach, Matt Calland said: “Daley is a big, strong centre. He will bring strike to our edges and much needed experience out wide.

“Adam Lawton has a really big frame. He stands at 6ft 7 and is a real handful for defenders with the ball in hand. He will add much needed size to our pack.”

Both players are available for selection ahead of their trip to the Tetley’s Stadium to face Dewsbury Rams on Sunday.
