Jake Bradley | Inside the Camp

"To represent my country is a huge honour."

Ahead of the upcoming Home Nations series, England Community Lions Youth Number 10, and youngest member of the squad, Jake Bradley looks back on his experiences at the U19s European Championships and his expectations moving forward.

Speaking to rugby-league.com, the Cumbiran said:

"Having been in the squad since the U19s European Championship, I think we have all really bonded as group which should hold us in good stead for the Home Nations," he said.

"Obviously, we had some success on the field in Serbia, and camp itself was enjoyable with some good training opportunities for us all. Something we hadn't previously experienced.

"The Championships went well for us, we had some highs and lows, but I feel we have learnt some lessons that will prove valuable throughout the Home Nations.

"Serbia itself was an interesting place to visit, and somewhere I probably wouldn't have had the opportunity to visit apart from being selected through the Lions.

"I gained valuable playing experience and built good memories at the same time.

"I am looking forward to meeting up with the team once again. Facing Scotland for the first time, and a repeat of our match against Wales. Both will be tough tests and by no means are we thinking these will be easy games.

"I am expecting the series to be a huge challenge for the whole team, and I hope we can build on what we started in Serbia.

"To represent my country is a huge honour and truly a proud moment within my rugby career so far, I can't wait for the challenge ahead and hopefully have a successful home nations.

"The support we built up in the U19s European Championships was amazing, and to see that continue, particularly when we play at home for the first time would be fantastic."
