More NCL games confirmed for Our League ahead of busy Easter weekend

The Easter weekend is always a special one in the Rugby League calendar – and it’s also a busy one for Our League.

The new regular coverage of the National Conference League kicks off on Easter Saturday afternoon at 230pm, with a classic Cumbrian derby as Wath Brow Hornets take on Egremont Raiders.

That will be the first of 10 games shown live and exclusive on Our League in the 2022 season, culminating in Finals Day on October 8 – and the NCL have now confirmed two more fixtures to be shown in the coming weeks.

On April 30, the Our League cameras will focus on the heavyweight showdown between Hunslet Club Parkside and West Hull.

Then on May 21, it will be a switch to Division Two, with the game between Dewsbury Moor and Barrow Island.

Back to the Easter weekend on Our League, and before the Wath Brow v Egremont clash on Saturday, there will be a 1pm kick-off for the latest game in Cornwall’s Betfred League One adventure – a trip to the Eco-Power Stadium to face Doncaster as Richard Horne’s team aim to bounce back from last week’s heavy home defeat against Swinton Lions.

Then on Easter Sunday, the focus turns to the Women’s Rugby League Association, with a double header of Finals from Featherstone’s Millennium Stadium.

First two pioneering student teams from the Universities of Leeds and Liverpool meet in the Plate Final at midday, before Featherstone Lionesses take on West Leeds in the battle to be crowned 2021-22 Cup winners, with a scheduled kick-off at 2pm.

Our League schedule, Easter weekend:

Saturday: 1pm – Doncaster v Cornwall (Betfred League One); 230pm – Wath Brow Hornets v Egremont Rangers (National Conference League Premier Division).

Sunday: 12pm – WRLA Plate Final – Leeds University v Liverpool University; 2pm – WRLA Cup Final – Featherstone Lionesses v West Leeds.
