Give Tag A Try at one of over 70 Free Taster Sessions across the UK this April!
Rugby League in any format is a great way to stay active. If you are looking for an easy way to exercise outdoors, meet lots of people and have some fun then join thousands of other men and women across the country and Give Tag Rugby A Try this summer.
Registration is now open for Try Tag Rugby Early Summer Leagues across the UK, starting from 23rd April. If you would rather give it a try before committing to a League then there are also over 70 Free Taster Sessions taking place in the build up to the leagues starting over the next few weeks.
Locations include: Bradford, Bristol, Coventry, Edinburgh, Leamington Spa, Leeds, Leigh, London, Maidenhead, Manchester, Oxford, Reading, Salford, Sheffield, Wakefield and Wigan.
No experience is needed and all abilities are welcome including those who haven’t played Rugby League before. Registration for the Leagues is available for individuals, groups and teams. If signing up as an individual or group, Try Tag Rugby will place you with other individual players to create a full team.
Tagging instead of tackling means that this exciting, minimal-contact form of the game is accessible to anybody aged 14 and above.
Most leagues take place on weekday evenings and are 7-a-side mixed (4 males and 3 females) leagues.
Leagues are well organised and follow a league structure. Each team in a league plays one 40 minute game each week and with no training, it is a perfect way to get some exercise and your Rugby League fix even with a busy schedule. Each league also has a weekly after match social at a nearby pub.
