Barrow Raiders have confirmed the arrival of Salford Red Devils full-back Morgan Escare on a short-term loan deal.
The France international, 30, was most recently on loan at Wakefield Trinity, scoring in their 38-22 Betfred Super League victory over Warrington Wolves.
Escare has scored six tries in 11 appearances for his country, and goes straight into contention for Sunday’s clash with Batley Bulldogs in the Betfred Championship.
The move will see him link up with good friend and international team-mate Hakim Miloudi, who has been a shining light for the Raiders in 2022.
"I've been with Wakefield for the last two weeks, and I enjoyed playing games," he said.
"This weekend, I’ve come to Barrow [and] I'm going to enjoy my time at the club.
"I watch all of the Barrow games, and they're a very good team. I’ll give the best of myself to Barrow and enjoy the game."
On his reunion with Miloudi, he added: "Hakim is a friend, and I'm going to enjoy playing with him on Sunday."
