2022 Betfred Challenge Cup Final FAQs

Tickets are now on sale for the 2022 Betfred Challenge Cup Final which will take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 28 May 2022 (KO 3pm), with the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Final being played beforehand (KO 12pm).

These will be the first ever Rugby League matches hosted at the state of the art 62,850 capacity stadium – the third largest football stadium in England. The Betfred Challenge Cup Final will then return to Wembley Stadium for 2023.

Please note that if Covid restrictions prevent fans from attending the 2022 Cup Final, all buyers will be able to receive a full refund of the ticket price paid.

When can I buy a ticket?

Tickets are on sale now at Buy now with tickets from only £30 Adults and £15 Under 16s.

How many tickets can I buy?

You will be limited to 10 tickets per purchase. Anyone wishing to buy more than 10 tickets should contact our Group Sales Team by emailing

Can I choose my seats?

You can choose your seats and instead you can buy at one of four pricing categories. Tickets are sold on a best available basis, and you will be allocated your seats by the RFL.

Will my seat be socially distanced?

At this stage stadium seating will not be socially distanced. Should Covid restrictions change prior to the event, we will notify all buyers of any resulting impact on their matchday.

When and how will I receive my tickets?

All tickets for the 2022 Cup Final will be Print at Home. No tickets will be posted to mailing addresses. When you buy your tickets, you will receive a booking confirmation and your match tickets will be emailed to you nearer the event. 

Will I need an email address to purchase tickets?

Yes, email addresses will now be a mandatory part of the ticket buying process. Not only for Print at Home tickets, but also to comply with Track & Trace regulations should they be needed at the time of the event. Customers must supply an email address on every booking, even those by telephone to our Box Office. If you do not have an email address you can register free to many domains and this only takes a matter of minutes. Or seek permission from a friend or family member to utilise their email address for booking. 

I require a wheelchair space what should I do?

In order to book a wheelchair space, please email best outlining your requirements. You will be required to provide a proof of access document to RFL ticketing to attain a complimentary assistant ticket.

How do I book disabled parking?

Please note, you must have your confirmation email and your blue badge on the day or you will be turned away.

Can I attend both matches?

Yes, your match ticket entitles you to attend both the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Final (KO 12pm) and the Betfred Challenge Cup Final (KO 3pm). Once you have entered the stadium however, you will not be able to leave and then re-enter.

What food and beverage will be available?

60 food and drink outlets serve a wide range of delicious food. You are welcome to take your food and drink to your seat to eat and enjoy. Fans are advised not to bring their own food into the stadium due to issues of provenance, safety and rubbish generated. Discretion will be shown by stewards, however, in relation to snacks, in particular children’s snacks. We appreciate this is not a clear-cut policy but allowing discretion means we can be more flexible in your interests. Kids Meal Deals are available.Drinks of any kind, including water, may not be brought into the stadium in line with all safety advice that relates to major events. This also applies to empty bottles with lids that can be filled and thrown.

Can I buy a programme?

The commemorative A4-sized 84-page perfect-bound edition is the ideal keepsake from a day never to forget and costs just £8, plus £2.50 post and packaging to a UK address. This commemorative issue will be despatched on Friday 27th May but is not expected to arrive for a pre-match delivery and should land in environmentally-friendly paper wrap no later than four working days after despatch.
