Elliot Kear joins Bradford Bulls

Bradford Bulls have confirmed the signing of Elliot Kear from Betfred Super League club Salford Red Devils.

The 32-year-old has agreed a deal which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2022 season having previously spent three seasons with the Bulls between 2012 and 2014.

Kear has made over 200 career appearances and was part of the Salford side which featured in the 2020 Challenge Cup Final.

Bradford Head Coach, John Kear said: “It is a real coup for the club – he has been featuring regularly in Super League and he has had an outstanding career racking up hundreds of games at the highest level.

“I really am delighted he will be joining us – he will add leadership to the group and a competitive edge coupled with a desire to achieve.

“He can play anywhere from full back to left wing and will add pressure to those already occupying those positions so hopefully they thrive on the back of it.

“He went up with London when they were not expected to go up, so he has been there, got the t-short and I know his training ethic is second to none.

“I know he is not coming to put his feet up; he’s coming to help us achieve what we set out to achieve and I am sure he will add a lot to us.

“It was not a big sell from me to him about the club’s facilities and ambitions – it will certainly make his transition easier knowing the club like he does.”
