GB Teachers v GB Police played out an entertaining 36-all draw in the final round of the President's Cup on Wednesday night.
Adam Schofield broke the deadlock for the Teachers, before Mike Stewart made it 8-0.
Isaac Noi brought the Police back into it, before Lewis Ainley dived over from close range to make it 8-all.
The Police went in again soon after, Gaz Jones barrelling over before an Ainley goal made it 14-8.
But the Teachers were undeterred and Harry Hayes bagged a try in response, before Nick Woolley added the extras to level it up.
But there was still time before the break for the sides to trade blows again - Woolley converting a Matt Broksom try, before it was quickly 20-all. Ben Hanger scoring before Ainley's kick made it level at half time.
The end-to-end action continued in the second period as the Police's Chris Stonall muscled his way over, Ainley converting.
Teachers' John Oldridge then converted his own try to make it 26-all. But Ainley got on the scoresheet within minutes to make it 30-26 to the Police.
Joe Cockshott's try then made it 30-all as the clock ticked down to full time.
Chris Stonall got his second in response, Ainley with the goal, but Aiden Gleeson's try - improved by Oldridge - ensured the Teachers enjoyed a share of the spoils.
