Josh Charnley hasn’t been back in Rugby League for long.
But he has already made a big impression for Warrington Wolves.
With 12 tries in his opening eight games, Charnley – who signed from Sale Sharks – is in sparkling form ahead of his first meeting with former club Wigan Warriors.
The eight-time England international admitted it will be a strange feeling to go up against the Cherry and Whites.
"I've never played against them so it's going to be a little bit weird," he said.
"It's going to be one of those where I have got to concentrate on myself, concentrate on playing for Warrington and doing well.
"It's going to be good."
Charnley has been enjoying life at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, with Steve Price's men third in the table and four points shy of the table-topping St Helens.
"It's been really good," the winger commented.
"It was tough decision to come back to League.
"I've been a Wigan boy for most of my Rugby League career. It was a hard decision to come but I have made the right one.
"The lads are playing good rugby and I'm just at the end of what they are doing which is making it a bit easier."
The ex-Wigan favourite has made five appearances at Magic, scoring three tries.
He will be aiming to add to his collection on Saturday and the 26-year-old says there is, unsurprisingly, a great atmosphere around the Wolves squad heading into the contest.
"There’s a good buzz around the camp," he added.
"There's been a buzz for the few weeks that I have been here.
"It's just another (game) that we know we need to win to put us in a good position for the split.
"The lads are confident, we are playing well and doing alright.
“We have a few big weeks ahead of us and we need to knock them off one by one and if we do that, stay consistent then we'll be alright for the split.
"We can't get ahead of ourselves and we need to concentrate on what we do best."
For the neutral supporters as well as the Warrington following, it will be a great sight to see Charnley back at Magic - doing what he does best.
