2018 Betfred Super League season odds

Regular season winners

After blazing past almost everyone in the regular season in 2017, Castleford Tigers are joint favourites with title sponsor Betfred to be top after 23 round of Super League fixtures.

Wigan Warriors and St Helens are also priced at 4/1.

Grand Final Winner Odds

Surprisingly, despite winning their eighth Grand Final Crown in October, Betfred have priced Leeds Rhinos as fifth favourites to repeat the feat in 2018. The losses of iconic half-back duo Rob Burrow and Danny McGuire have left a gap to fill but surely there is value at 6/1.

After coming close to glory in 2017 by reaching their first Grand Final, Castleford Tigers are shortest-priced at 4/1 to win their first Super League crown.

With Ben Barba looking to hit form and the fact that St Helens finished off 2017 fairly strongly, 9/2 odds mean Justin Holbrook’s men could be a good team to back ahead of the season.

Top Four Finish

After narrowly missing out on the top four in 2017, the ever-exciting Wakefield Trinity seem great value for a punt on a top four finish after 30 rounds at 9/1.

Similarly Huddersfield, who went from strength to strength as the season went on with numerous additions to Rick Stone’s squad, are priced at 7/1 to make the semi-finals.

Top scorer

Finishing last season with 38 Super League tries, Greg Eden is joint-favourite with Joe Burgess to finish as 2018’s top scorer; priced at 8/1.

Fellow Castleford winger Garry Lo, joins the Tigers after an impressive Rugby League World Cup campaign with Papua New Guinea. The powerful winger is priced at 10/1 in the top scorer charts.

Following his brilliant World Cup campaign with England, Huddersfield Giants’ Jermaine McGillvary is also priced at 10/1. He was Super League’s top tryscorer at 10/1.
