Hull FC may have grabbed headlines with back-to-back Ladbrokes Challenge Cup wins over the past two seasons, but their Foundation team have been hard at work making equally impressive strides in the women's game over the past 12 months.
Working in partnership with Sirius Academy, Champion Schools specialists in the girls' game, and aiding recruitment by using the Hull FC brand, they have quickly built an Under 14s girls team and an under 16s girls team.
On the back of encouraging turn-outs at training, the teams, running as Hull FC and formally attached to the club, have now been registered with the Rugby Football League and began taking part in fixtures against community clubs this year.
Players are signing up to play for the club at a rapid rate and they have high hopes for their early success to continue.

"We are hoping to gather around 20 more registrations for both the under 14s and the under 16s team," said Hull FC Community Foundation Development Officer, Sam French.
"We are also looking to work with Sirius Academy and the local areas to run a Girls-only rugby camp, which we will be pushing to run throughout the half term breaks during the academic year.
"This will provide a pathway for girls who have an eagerness to try out Rugby League.
"The pathway will provide girls with the chance to try out the basics of Rugby League in a girl-only environment, with the progression of the pathway linking into registering and training every week with the Hull FC girls team - which is headed up by our Foundation team.
"We have aspirations to create Hull's first-ever Women's Super League team," he added.

The Women's Super League has enjoyed a successful first year where Bradford Bulls were crowned champions in Manchester on Betfred Super League Grand Final day.
Leeds Rhinos, Wigan Warriors and Widnes Vikings are just some of the teams who will be entering the league for 2018 and beyond.
French said: "All our girls' programmes look to provide a pathway up towards the Women's Super League - giving the girls a chance to reach the top and compete at a high level.
"We are already working towards recruiting for a Women's Super League team which can develop and be part of a professional environment, as well as providing a pathway for our current under 16s girls to stride towards signing on to play in Super League and further develop their Rugby League skills."
