Luke Gale kicked an impressive seven goals from the boot, whilst Leeds Rhinos’ Kallum Watkins scored one try and kicked four conversions in his team’s loss.
Wigan’s John Bateman was vital in their victory over Hull FC. Bateman made 101 metres, 27 tackles and scored the try that secured Wigan the two-points. The win moved the Warriors into the semi-finals spots with two games remaining.
Liam Farrell made 141 metres, 44 tackles and provided an assist, whist Sam Tomkins also registered an assist in the win. Scott Taylor made 116 metres and 2 tackle busts for the black and whites in the loss.
Huddersfield Giants were convincingly beaten by Salford Red Devils on Saturday. Jermaine McGillvary pitched in with a try as his side fell out of the semi-final runnings.
Kev Brown and Chris Hill scored as Warrington Wolves secured their Betfred Super League spot for 2018. Stefan Ratchford also provided an assist in the win.
