England Universities seek new Head Coach and Team Manager

Apply now for ENGLAND UNIVERSITIES RUGBY LEAGUE COACHING AND MANAGEMENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The Rugby Football League is currently accepting applications for the Head Coach and Team Manager volunteer roles for the 2017/18 England Universities programme.

The Head Coach and Team Manager will support the RFL lead officer to plan and deliver the representative calendar.

The men's representative team is for university students currently studying at a Higher Education Institute in England with English heritage, or those or qualify but are studying in an institute outside of the country.

The positions available for application are as follows:

- England Students Head Coach
- England Students Team Manager

These positions are voluntary roles.

To be considered for the roles you should:

  • Have completed your UKCC Level 3 or above Rugby League Coaching qualification (Head Coach role only)
  • Hold a current RFL DBS or willing to complete one
  • Have experience coaching or managing teams in the University sector
  • Hold a current driver's license and have access to a car
  • Be flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends when required
  • Have experience organising tours or events (Team Manager only)

Please state on your covering letter, whether you would like to be considered for an Assistant or Regional coaching role if unsuccessful for the Head Coach position.
