The following cases were heard this evening by an independent operational rules tribunal (HHJ Chris Batty, Graeme Hallas & Russ Bridge):
Jamie Acton (Leigh Centurions) plead guilty but challenged the grading of the Grade F Other Contrary Behaviour charge from the game against Catalans Dragons on July 1. The Independent Tribunal felt the grading was correct and banned Acton for nine games, with a £300 fine. As he had missed Leigh's last two games (vs Warrington and Huddersfield), Acton has already served two of these games.
The following cases are still to be heard
Joel Gibson (Hunslet) - Pleaded guilty to Grade D Dangerous Throw. Received three-match ban and £75 fine.
Michael Greenhalgh (London Skolars) - Pleaded guilty to Grade B Punching. Received one-match ban and a £75 fine.
Lameck Juma (London Skloars) - Pleaded guilty to Grade B Punching. Received one-match ban and a £75 fine.
Davey Dixon (Keighley Cougars) - Pleaded guilty to Grade A High Tackle. Received £75 fine.
Brad Nicholson (Keighley Cougars) - Pleaded guilty to Grade C Punching. Received one-match ban and a £75 fine.
