The Red Devils have been a surprise package in the opening 18 rounds of Betfred Super League, and are looking to transfer that form into the cup when they take on Wakefield Trinity in the quarter-final.
Coach Ian Watson called on the fans to drive his side into the final four, saying: "Hopefully this weekend a lot more spectators will come down and really out-sing the Wakefield supporters and drive us to that semi-final.
"It would be great for the club and the community to be in the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup. It would boost it for the club and give it that real good positive vibe."

Defeats in their last two games aside, Salford's progress since avoiding relegation with a dramatic golden-point win over Hull KR in last season's Million Pound Game has been impressive. After a number of false dawns, owner Dr Marwan Koukash's investment is finally starting to show return.
Wakefield are another one of Super League's surprise packages. They are just two points behind Salford and beat the Red Devils 34-24 in a pulsating encounter a fortnight ago.
Forward Mark Flanagan, who is set to return after a minor knock, said: "This is as big as it gets. Salford haven't been in many semi-finals of late, so if we get the result this week we'll be there, and then just one game away from Wembley.

"We're confident but we're not under-estimating Wakey by any stretch of the imagination. They've beaten us twice this year."
Wakefield had won seven in succession in the league prior to last weekend's 18-16 loss to Leeds Rhinos, which saw them lose David Fifita and James Batchelor to injury.
Coach Chris Chester said: "It was a game we probably didn't deserve to win but we look forward to putting a few things right on Thursday."
