St Helens produced a sensational performance in front of watching new coach Justin Holbrook to rout second-placed Hull FC 45-0.
Alex Walmsley and Regan Grace each crossed twice as Saints bounced back from last week's hammering to Castleford Tigers in the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup in style, denying Hull the chance to move top of Betfred Super League.
Walmsley, Ryan Morgan and Morgan Knowles scored tries in the first 40 minutes and Matty Smith kicked a drop goal to give Saints a 19-0 lead at half-time, when Australian Holbrook was pictured addressing his team.

Walmsley and Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook went over in the space of 15 minutes in the second half and Tommy Makinson scored in stunning style on his 150th appearance, shrugging off a couple of tackles before racing the length of the field.
The onslaught did not stop there for Hull as Grace crossed twice in the final 10 minutes.

Holbrook revealed afterwards: "I definitely just wanted to get straight into it and the assistants were waiting for me to get here, so I didn't want to ease my way in.
"I felt they needed a fresh face and I was lucky enough to be that. It just was good timing for me."

Hull head coach Lee Radford said: "We threw jabs and they threw bombs, and I think that's probably the best way I can describe it.
"Alex Walmsley looked like Superman out there, we had the Marvel shirts on (and) he should have had the Superman one on."
