Grasmere Sport Centre, Cockermouth, the venue for the Cumbria Masters Festival, was bathed in sunshine as 15 teams and almost 200 players turned out last Saturday.
This was the largest-ever Cumbria festival as teams from Hull, York, Leeds, Wakefield, Warrington (Crosfields & Rylands), Leyland, Barrow, (Barrow & Hindpool), Blackpool, Leigh and Wigan (St Jude's & Hindley) joined host club, West Cumbria, and newcomers Carlisle.
The new Masters players were warmly welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed the day.
