The Ladbrokes Challenge Cup final is Rugby league’s big day out at the iconic Wembley Stadium. 

The Ladbrokes Challenge Cup is Rugby League's oldest and most prestigious competition and is the only knock-out tournament of its kind to include teams from all levels of the sport.

Teams from the community, university and armed forces game all compete alongside the elite teams of Rugby League. First played in 1897, the Challenge Cup has a history and tradition like no other. The competition comes to a dramatic conclusion at the iconic Wembley Stadium on August Bank Holiday in front of more than 80,000 fans from all parts of the country.

In keeping with the competition's unique history, the day begins with The Champion Schools final featuring the two of best Year 7 school teams when the stars of tomorrow have their opportunity to display their skills on the famous Wembley turf.

Wembley Stadium has ample capacity for supporters with a disability. Wheelchair spaces are available in a purpose built viewing terraces around the ground. Fans can get further information on the accessibility at Wembley by clicking here.

Match commentary is available for visually impaired supporters. The equipment is 'wireless' and can be used in all areas of any stadium that host one of our events. The system is fully portable and as such fans may sit anywhere they choose in the stadium, alongside their family, friends and other club supporters. It is advisable to reserve these at least 48 hours prior to a match as quantities are limited.
