Doncaster secure fourth-place finish with win over London Skolars
Doncaster RLFC held on to record a 34-30 victory over London Skolars and secure a fourth-place finish in the Kingstone Press League 1 Super 8s.
The visitors took the lead after three minutes when Louis Robinson went over, with Oscar Thomas converting. Doncaster responded five minutes later when Louis Sheriff touched down, before taking the lead through Sam Doherty's try in the 14th minute, with Tom Carr adding the extras on both occasions.
Connor Scott and Kyle Kesik also scored first-half tries for Doncaster, before Aaron Small crossed for London just before the break, with Thomas converting to make it 24-12 at half-time.
Eddie Mbaraga crossed twice in the second half, either side of David Foggin-Johnston's try, before Jordan Howden went over for Doncaster to seemingly put the game out of reach.
James Hill and Lameck Juma both went over in the last 10 minutes but London could not stop Doncaster from sealing victory.
