Ahead of Friday’s final warm-up before the Rugby League World Cup, we take a trip back to the 2013 event to re-live England’s most-recent battle with Fiji.
England had lost to Australia in the opening game of Group A before beating Ireland whilst the Fijians had also beaten the Irish and lost the Kangaroos meaning the third and final group game in Hull would decide who would take second spot!
The England team that day: Sam Tomkins, Tom Briscoe, Kallum Watkins, Leroy Cudjoe, Ryan Hall; Rangi Chase, Kevin Sinfield; Sam Burgess, Michael McIlorum, James Graham, Brett Ferres, Ben Westwood, Sean O’Loughlin.
And on the interchange bench were Rob Burrow, Liam Farrell, Chris Hill and George Burgess with the team being coached by Steve McNamara.
