Jack Downs (Batley Bulldogs) pleaded guilty to a Grade D strikes with forearm/elbow – reckless charge. Player receives a 3-match suspension and a £250 fine.
Benn Hardcastle (Keighley Cougars) pleaded guilty but challenged the charge of a Grade C contact with the head charge. The challenge to the grading was unsuccessful and the tribunal found that the grading at Grade C was correct and appropriate.
Player receives a 3-match suspension which comprises of two matches for the original offence at Grade C and one additional match as the tribunal felt the challenge to the grading was frivolous. Player also received a £75 fine and forfeit £250 bond for the challenge.
