London Broncos have announced the signing of Greg Richards on a two year contract.
Richards, who was released by Leigh Centurions earlier this year, will join the Broncos ranks as they look to cement their place in Super League in the 2019 season.
The 23 year old former St Helens player already has 100 career appearances under his belt, while also winning the Grand Final with the Saints in 2014. Richards will bring more Super League experience to the London side having played over 70 times in the competition.
Richards said: “I am really excited to join London Broncos. The club has a fantastic mentality and the way Danny Ward and his team put their trust in the players in the Million Pound Game was something I watched and thought I wanted to be a part of.
"I am looking forward to a new environment and who wouldn’t be happy to be playing in the capital with what seems to be a great bunch of lads.”
Head Coach Danny Ward said: ”Greg is only young but has already played in over 70 Super League games and won a Grand Final with St Helens. His experience will prove invaluable as we work our way through next season.”
Broncos Chairman, David Hughes said: "We are excited to bring Greg to London and know that he will bring something new to our side with the experience of Super League that he already has.”
