London Broncos have announced that Welsh Captain, Elliot Kear, has re-signed for the 2019 Super League Season.
Kear will be moving into his fourth year at the club having joined in 2015 from Rugby Union side London Welsh and was an integral part of the squad as the Broncos gained promotion through the Million Pound Game.
Welsh Captain Kear said: “I am really happy to sign for another year here at London Broncos and to be going to Super League with the club. I am really excited about the next challenge in Super League and in keeping the London club where it belongs.”
Head Coach Danny Ward said of Kear: ”Elliot has had a fantastic season and struck up a strong partnership with his fellow Welshman, Rhys Williams, on the left side. He plays well above his weight and has previous experience at Super League level. His elevation to Captain of the Welsh national side has also helped him as a person as well as a player.”
Broncos Chairman, David Hughes said: “We are delighted to secure the signature of such an experienced player again for next year. Elliot will bring the much needed knowledge of Super League that the squad will need as we move into a very exciting time for the club.”
