The following cases were heard tonight by an independent operational rules tribunal (HH Rodney Grant, Neil Turley & Danny Sculthorpe);
Anthony Thackeray (Featherstone Rovers) pleaded guilty to be challenged the grading of the Grade B Dangerous Throw charge in the Betfred Championship fixture against Barrow Raiders on September 30. The panel felt that the grading was correct and the 1 match penalty notice and £250 remain.
John Davies (Featherstone Rovers) pleaded guilty to but challenged the grading of the Grade B High Tackle charge in the Betfred Championship fixture against Swinton Lions on September 23. The panel believed the grading challenge was unreasonable and have therefore added an additional match to the suspension, meaning the player is suspended for two matches and fined £250.
The following players have accepted the imposed penalty notices;
Connor Farrell (Featherstone Rovers) - Grade A Dangerous Contact (0 Matches)
Dan Parker (Keighley Cougars) - Grade C Dangerous Throw (2 Matches)
