Sheffield Eagles prop-forward Scott Wheeldon has been handed a three-game suspension after a Grade D Dangerous Contact charge in their recent fixture against Halifax Panthers was upheld.
Wheeldon had pleaded Guilty but challenged the grading however the Independent Tribunal found the grading to be correct. Wheeldon was also fined £250.
Barrow Raiders’ Dan Toal was handed a five-match suspension following a Grade D Punching charge in their recent fixture against West Wales Raiders. Toal pleaded Guilty and was also fined £75.
