Women's Super League Preview

Women's Super League Preview

Warrington Wolves will take on Bradford Bulls live on Twitch from 12pm on Sunday as both sides go in search of their first league wins of the season.

Warrington were 38-12 winners against Huddersfield in the Challenge Cup last month, but. remain without a point after two league fixtures in 2021.

They have been on the end of defeats at the hands of play-off hopefuls Wigan Warriors and St Helens but will fancy themselves to get off the mark this week.

In opposition, the Bulls are without many of the stars which led them to the first-ever Women's Super League title back in 2017, but a young squad of burgeoning talent has been brought together for the current campaign.

They didn't register a point in successive defeats to St Helens and Wigan, but they ran in 20 last time out in a late 28-20 reverse against Huddersfield Giants.

They currently sit bottom of the table but a point could lift them up the table as fellow winless sides Wakefield Trinity and Featherstone Rovers clash elsewhere at 12pm.

Rovers sit above Trinity in the table thanks to a better points percentage difference, but both sides will be keen to get off the mark this weekend, a difficult game to call which could go either way.

Elsewhere on Sunday, a pair of 3.30pm kick offs follow as Huddersfield go in search of a second-successive win as they play Wigan, while there is a repeat of last week's dramatic Challenge Cup semi-final as York City Knights face Castleford Tigers.
