Warrington Wolves can confirm that prop Dominic Crosby has joined fellow Betfred Super League side Leeds Rhinos on loan with immediate effect until the end of the season.

Crosby, 27, signed for Warrington ahead of the 2017 season, making 17 appearances for the club, including 10 this year.

He will not be permitted to play against Warrington in either the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup or Super League competitions.

Warrington chief executive Karl Fitzpatrick said: “On behalf of the club I’d like to thank Dom for his service to the club and wish him well for his time at the Leeds Rhinos.”

Commenting on the signing, Director of Rugby Kevin Sinfield said: “We are delighted to be able to bring in a player of Dom’s experience into our group. He was spent some time around the lads and I know he is keen to get out there and show what he can do in a Rhinos shirt.”

Crosby added: “I am really looking to playing the Rhinos and getting out there with the boys tomorrow night. It is an exciting time for the club with a new management team in place and hopefully I can come in and help the team out where I can.”
