Halifax captain Jack Brown scored a remarkable 15 tries as Halifax won the 2017 WhRL Challenge Cup Final for the third time - defeating Leeds Rhinos 110-48 in Huddersfield.
Both sides started well, with six tries being scored within the opening 20 minutes of the match.
Halifax player-coach and England captain Jack Brown bagged two tries, whilst his brother Harry Brown added a solitary try of his own.
Ryan Richardson, Tom Halliwell, and Josh Butler each scored a try each for the Rhinos.
Halifax then took control of the game with two more tries for Jack Brown, taking his tally to five in this game - Rob Hawkins also scored two more tries for his side.
Despite the Rhinos scoring a well-worked try through James Simpson, Jack Brown added two further tries for 'Fax, as they led by 30 points at half time.
The second half then saw Jack Brown at his best as, from the first whistle, he dictated the game for his side, scoring five tries in a 12-minute period of the game, taking his match tally to 12.
Halifax continued to push the game away from the Rhinos, with a second try of the game for Harry Brown, a single try each for Coral Batey and Jack Sykes, and three more tries for Jack Brown who finished the game with fifteen tries, as he earned the Player of the Match trophy.
Four late tries from Leeds' Halliwell wasn't enough for the Rhinos as Halifax won the game, as well as the honor of claiming the first piece of silverware of the WhRL season.
