GRASSROOTS CLUBS FUNDING:

Congratulations to all clubs who received funding via the Aviva Community Fund, and in particular Cramlington Rockets who achieved the maximum award of £25k to set up a new club in the North East - Alnwick Bears.

The Development team is supporting a number of clubs with bids and fundraising projects; in particular focused on clubs who are putting on new teams, or developing new offers.

TOUCH RL:

New sites have signed up for 2018 and many more have renewed their partnership.

RECRUITING FEMALE PLAYERS - ‘THIS GIRL CAN’ FREE MARKETING AND PROMO ASSETS:

A number of clubs have asked for assets and support and their posters etc are being created now by RFL artworkers.

NEW SEASON, MORE STREAMING:

This season, there will be more community Rugby League games and Finals streamed than ever before! We will promote which games are being streamed in this weekly update and across social media.

The majority of these games will be streamed via the ouRLeague Membership App which is free to join!

NEW PATHWAY FOR GIRLS – PART OF THE WOMEN’S FRAMEWORK:
