Northumberland-based Rugby League club, Cramlington Rockets, have successfully launched 'Rocket Ready'.
Rocket Ready is way for its non-playing members to get fit.
Led by Stewart Walker, Head of Strength and Conditioning at League 1 club Newcastle Thunder's Academy, as well as the Rockets, an impressive 23 people turned out for a fun first session in the sunshine.
Mixing traditional fitness activities with some rugby-themed games, it was the mums and dads of many junior players that made the most of the new initiative.
"We have a lot of parents just standing around for an hour when their kids are training," said Rockets community manager, Steve Beaty.
"At the Rockets, we are about engaging as many people as possible and with Stewart joining the Open Age set up this year, it has allowed us to reach an even wider audience."
Coming on the back of the successful launch of Rocket Tots, the club's activity programme for 2-6 year olds, and its recently-completed winter touch rugby programme, it is the latest step for a club renowned for its initiatives.

Rocket Ready will be running every Wednesday at 6pm until June 7 and costs only £2 per person
Beaty continued: "Health and wellbeing are important areas for communities at the moment and we know all about the benefits that playing Rugby League offers our players.
"But we have always said we are more than just a Rugby League club, and to be able to reach members now ranging from the ages of two to 60 is great.
"The fact we had some siblings of some of the minis, some first teamers getting some extra training and plenty in between in just shows that the Rockets is a family club for all."
The initial six week block of Rocket Ready will be running every Wednesday at 6pm until June 7 and costs only £2 per person. Spaces are limited.
