In partnership with TROJAN Workwear, the Rugby Football League launched a brand new competition that any Rugby League player from outside the professional game could win!
The competition is open to all levels of the community game - all ages, men and women, boys and girls - whether at school, university, college, or if they are playing with a local community club anywhere across the UK.
The try can be recorded on phone, tablet or camcorder and be from any game.
To enter, simply share a clip of the best try on social media using: #TrojanTry
The 2017 Try of the Year will be selected by an expert panel and the winner will be announced at the Rugby Football League's annual Community Awards in October.
Winners will receive £2,000 courtesy of TROJAN to give back to their local club, while the scorer of the Try of the Year will also win a personalised Trophy, which will also be presented at the Community Awards.
Only tries scored after January 1, 2017 are eligible to win, but the Competition closes September 24, 2017.
"NCL Chairman Trevor Hunt said: "This is certainly a competition that looks like it may have slipped under the radar, but with the quality of tries scored on a weekly basis, there must be plenty of material available for upload to try and win the cash and the personal trophy."
