John Wroe

I played my first game of Masters Rugby League and first game of Rugby League ever at the age of 61 and was immediately hooked.

Chairman of the Baht'ats Masters Rugby League Team, I was a senior manager with Marks & Spencer and now run my own sports tour and music tour business.

I bring 65 years of life experience and 50 years of business experience to the role of chairman.

Paul Field

I'm a Rugby League fanatic and Hunslet fan, having started playing Rugby League with Hunslet Juniors u17s and U19s.

I played for Bradford University RL (1975-77 1978-79) and Yorkshire Universities before going on to play ten seasons with Oulton and then for Calder Valley in the Pennine League from 1985-2008, retiring at the age of 50.

I played in first Masters Festival in UK April 2008 and played for GB Masters against touring Australians in 2008, and also started refereeing Masters.

I toured Australia with the GB Masters as Tour Captain in 2009 and helped form the Baht'ats Masters on our return.

I enjoy refereeing the game and refereed the 2010 and 2012 Internationals against the visiting Australians.

In 2010 and 2012 I visited France to promote Masters and played and refereed at New Zealand's 20th Anniversary Masters Festival in Christchurch 2013.

Ed Baldwin

I became involved with Masters Rugby League in 2009 originally through my children at Medway Dragons via the community scheme.

A former soldier, I am a London Broncos season ticket holder and partner to Donna with four children three horses two dogs!

Masters RL has given me the opportunity to take to the field again after a life-changing operation in 2012.

As a Londoner born and bred, my only regret is I never found Rugby League 30 years earlier!

Paul Royston

Born in Bradford, played junior rugby at Odsal Sedbergh and Wyke, and open age for Spenborough and Oddfellows before signing for Northern at 16, but due to injury didn't play between ages of 18 and 22.

Then played amateur at Batley Boys and West Bowling before signing for Huddersfield.

Retired at the age of 27 to concentrate on a career away from Rugby, and is now Managing Director of a Precision Engineering Business.

Started playing Masters in 2008 and got sent off playing for Yorkshire against the touring Australians; because I didn’t understand fully the ethos of Masters.

Toured Australia with GB Masters in 2009 but was injured so ended up coaching the tour party, which inadvertently lead to me coaching GB Masters in 2010, 2012 and 2014.

Have now played Masters in Scotland, Ireland, France and Australia.

Has the Nickname of Fester – I don't know why!

Kath Wilson

Kath is part of a Rugby League-mad family with husband and both daughters having played the game.

She helped set up Farnley Masters in 2012 and was instrumental in the team's merger into the Leeds Masters Group in 2013.

Twenty two years after moving to Leeds, Kath is now Manager of the Leeds Masters Group, a fully-fledged Hunslet supporter and still has time to work full-time.
