All Golds fight back for victory
Alex Davidson\'s last-gasp try handed Gloucestershire All Golds a narrow 38-34 victory over Hemel Stags in a thrilling encounter at Pennine Way.
Davidson scored the game\'s first try in the 18th minute, with Courtney Davies adding the extras to give the visitors a 6-0 lead.
Two tries in three minutes from Matt Ross and Alex Anthony respectively put Hemel 8-6 up before Derrell Olpherts and Anthony went over, with Barry John Swindells converting both tries to extend the hosts\' lead.
The All Golds reduced their arrears two minutes before the break when Steve Parry went over before Davies converted to make it 22-12 to the Stags at half-time.
The visitors picked up where they left off in the second period, with Parry crossing in the 44th minute.
But tries from Hemel duo James Woodburn-Hall and Michael Brown, either side of Graham O\'Keeffe\'s try, gave the hosts a commanding lead.
The All Golds gave themselves a glimmer of hope when Emmerson Whittel went over in the 72nd minute, with Matt Bradley converting.
Jamie Murphy then brought the All Golds to within two points of the hosts with a 75th-minute try, before Davidson crossed one minute before the end, with Bradley tagging on the extras to complete the comeback victory.
