Tony Fretwell (National Player Development Manager) is the project lead for Embed the Pathway.
He joined the RFL in June 2014 having spent the previous decade in secondary education as a PE teacher and then a Director of Sport.
Prior to becoming a PE teacher he was on the coaching staff at Widnes Vikings and Halifax RLFC.
Tony has been involved in Rugby League for over 25 years at community level right through to elite programs.
Anthony Atherton (National Talent Development Officer) is responsible for implementation through development partners and quality control of the Embed the Pathway through community coaches.
Anthony has worked at the RFL for the last five years building up a network of league and club support throughout the community game.
His involvement in rugby started at six with Ince St Williams, and from 14 at Wigan St Patricks as player, coach and CWO.
Becky is responsible for the co-ordination of events and administration of the Embed the Pathway programme.
She joined the RFL in 2013 and has a keen interest in Rugby League particularly in the community game.
Becky has been a Rugby League volunteer for over 7 years where she has been a Team Manager, Touchline Manager, First Aider, Junior Club Secretary and a busy Rugby Mum.
She now dedicates her spare time to Castleford & District Junior Rugby League to help organise and run the local Cup competition.
Becky joined the RFL from Castleford Tigers where she worked in retail and ticketing for four years.
