How did the domestic-based hopefuls get on in Betfred Super League Round 4?

George Williams ran the show for Wigan on Thursday night, providing three assists in Wigan Warriors 38-16 victory away at Warrington Wolves on Thursday night. Sean O’Loughlin also assisted two tries and made 106 metres in the victory.

Liam Farrell made 193 metres against the Wolves and scored a try just after the half hour mark for the cherry and whites.

Although Warrington were unable to pick up their first points of the season, Daryl Clark and Mike Cooper showed some positive signs for the Wolves. Clark made 44 tackles and 5 offloads, with Cooper putting up similar numbers, making 45 tackles and 4 offloads.

Danny Houghton was named Man of the Match in Hull FC’s victory over St Helens. Scott Taylor made 138 metres and provided an assist for the match sealing try. Mark Percival scored one try and kicked three goals in Saints’ loss.

Jermaine McGillvary made 103 metres and three tackle busts in Huddersfield’s 30-0 defeat to Leigh Centurions on Friday.

Ryan Hall caused havoc in Leeds Rhinos’ victory over Catalans Dragons, racking up 160 metres and making four tackle busts. Kallum Watkins made 24 tackles and 116 metres on his birthday weekend.


Luke Gale scored his 1,500th career point in Castleford Tigers’ 34-0 victory over Widnes Vikings. Michael Shenton also stood out in the performance, scoring his 100th Super league try in the win.
