Burgess makes 200th Club League appearance

England captain Sam Burgess made his 200th league appearance in Rugby League when he captained South Sydney Rabbitohs in their 38-18 victory over Manly.

Sam made 79 appearances in Super League for Bradford Bulls and has so far made 121 appearances in the NRL for South Sydney Rabbitohs.

 

Johnathan Thurston Drop Goal wins it late for Cowboys

Golden point between the Broncos and Cowboys, and JT again has the chance to win it with a drop goal.

Last week Thurston hit the bar and the Cowboys scored a try from the follow up, this time the half made no mistake on the night he reached 2,000 career points.

 

Rugby League fan appears on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway

Stewart is a loyal Wigan St Pats fan and wanted to surprise his wife Karen.

Stewart was first given a lesson in love by Fred Sirieix from First dates.

He was then taken to Paris & Venice and even got a singing lesson from Sir Tom Jones before surprising his wife in the studio.

Shenton, Rangi and Roberts welcome children into world

The Tigers capped off round 4 with a 34-0 victory over Widnes Vikings.

Ben Roberts and Michael Shenton were involved in the win after the births of their daughters earlier in the week.

Rangi Chase watched from the side after his baby boy was born.

 

Newcastle Knights win first game in 336 days

The Knights ended a 19 game losing streak on their 30th anniversary after not winning a game in nearly a year.

Newcastle started strong against Gold Coast who lost Jarryd Hayne in the first half, Hayne faces a month on the sideliners due to an ankle injury.

It looked like Gold Coast would edge the game with some exquisite tries scored in the second half, but Newcastle came back strong and earned a 34-26 win.
