London Broncos will travel to Toronto Wolfpack as two cities battle for promotion in the Million Pound Game at Lamport Stadium, Toronto.
London will be looking to end their four-year exile from Super League by beating Rugby League newcomers Toronto, two-years ago Toronto joined League 1, in their first year they were promoted as champions - this year they finished top of the Championship qualifying for Super 8s The Qualifiers.
London secured their place in the Million Pound Game with a win over Halifax, while Toronto’s shock win over Leeds Rhinos nearly gained them automatic promotion, however, a Hull KR win on Sunday ended their hopes.
Gareth O’Brien secured the Canadian sides win over Rhinos with a trademark drop-goal, Wolfpack will have O’Brien’s Million Pound Game experience to depend on – the full-back played in the Million Pound Game with Salford Red Devils, his drop goal in extra time preserved Devils’ Super League status.
