The demand for tickets is as high as ever ahead of this year’s Ladbrokes Challenge Cup semi-final between Leeds Rhinos and Hull FC at Keepmoat Stadium, Doncaster on Saturday, July 29 (2.30pm).
Only 500 tickets remain on sale to see current holders Hull FC take on 13-time winners Leeds as they aim to return to Wembley Stadium and repeat what the Rhinos achieved in 2014 and 2015 with back-to-back Ladbrokes Challenge Cup victories.
Both sides, who currently sit in the top four of the Betfred Super League, have met only once before at the semi-final stage back in 2000 – Leeds edged it 28 – 22 that day and went on to play Bradford Bulls in the final.
Rugby Football League Chief Commercial Officer and Super League Executive Director, Roger Draper, said: “This is fantastic news and shows the appetite for this competition is increasing as we head towards the final on August 26.
“The Ladbrokes Challenge Cup is the jewel in the crown and has grabbed plenty of attention following the BBC’s outstanding coverage right from the start in round one – I’m sure the semi-finals will deliver more drama and excitement.”
Spectators are advised to buy soon to avoid missing out – tickets are priced from £20 for adults, £15 for concessions and £10 for juniors with a discount available for members of both clubs of £3 off for adults, £2 off for concessions and £1 off for juniors.
