The draw for the second round of the League 1 Cup will take place immediately after the York City Knights v North Wales Crusaders game (3.00pm) at Bootham Crescent live on BBC Radio York.
Conducting the draw will be Chief Executive of the City of York Council, Mary Weastell and one of the heroes of York’s 1981 title success, Paul McDermott.
The Knights, who narrowly lost to Keighley Cougars in last year’s final at Blackpool’s Bloomfield Road, will be aiming to go one better in 2017 and lift the trophy at the opening game of Summer Bash on Saturday, May 27.
