Welcome back, Luton Vipers!
Newly-refounded Luton Vipers are aiming to take the East Men's League by storm in 2017, with Coach Ieuan Beal aiming for promotion from Division 1.
The club has been reborn thanks to the hard work and dedication of Club Chairman Rob Ashton, who has worked tirelessly for months to get the club up and running in preparation for their first season in the East Men's League.
The Vipers, whose previous incarnation was a successful period between 2002 and 2008, expect to hit the ground running.
They are 'all set' to take their place in East RL's second tier, with fixtures kicking off in May.
Beal, who doubles up as the club's press officer, said: "A lot of work has already gone in to get us started and I believe we have a squad which could be capable of winning the league.
"Rob (Ashton, Chairman) is creating something special here."
The Vipers have attracted wide expressions of interest from players from across Bedfordshire and the motivation behind the club is simple for Beal: "It's about getting more people involved in Rugby League.
"It's an amazing sport and as soon as people try it, they love it - once people come along, they'll be hooked!"

He added: "We're working behind the scenes to find our identity, we're talking to a few possible sponsors and we're planning for pre-season too, which will get underway at the beginning of April.
"We've got some big aims for the future - there are some exciting times ahead for Rugby League in Luton."
