The Queens Hotel was once again the venue for the Rugby League Benevolent Fund President's Ball and Masters Rugby League was well represented by over 70 Masters and partners attending the black tie event.
All the Masters looked very dapper: they certainly scrubbed up well!
Masters players from 11 different Masters clubs from across the country (Barrow, Blackpool, Halcyons, Ossett, RAF, Siddal, Sussex Merlins, Wigan St Jude's, West Cumbria and York Lokos together) plus Masters referees, with all their partners thoroughly enjoyed the occasion.
Dave Woods acted as MC and super auctioneer whilst there was a motivating welcome speech from Rugby League President, Air Commodore Dean Andrew.
The evening's main entertainment was, in keeping with the military theme, a loud and rousing performance by the drums and pipes of the Band 1st Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment!
"Another great Masters evening!" was the comment from 2014 Great Britain Captain, Ian Worthington.
The Rugby League Benevolent Fund is the chosen charity for Masters Rugby League.
