The First Utility Super League is set for a bumper weekend of games this Easter and fans are expected to turn out in the thousands to support their teams. With the SOLD OUT signs going up at Langtree Park and Halliwell Jones Stadium, it promises to be a great weekend of Rugby League action.
Super League General Manager Blake Solly said “Easter is always a huge weekend in the calendar, we know fans love the extraordinary atmosphere and action, with at least two games selling out and big crowds expected at the other matches.
“It is certainly going to be one of the most exciting Easter weekends, especially as the 2016 First Utility Super League has been the most unpredictable to date. All the games taking place on Thursday and Friday are too close to call, and this uncertainty adds to the traditional rivalries between the clubs.
“Thanks must go to the fans of all First Utility Super League clubs for their constant support of their clubs and the competition. For those that have missed out on purchasing a ticket, tuning in to Sky Sports, BBC Radio and talkSport will ensure fans can still keep up with all the action over the Easter weekend.”
Tickets for all other games over the Easter Weekend can be purchased via the clubs websites.
